On Thursday night, Nicki Minaj jumped on Instagram Live and made a special announcement by bringing rapper BIA on, where the two shared the news that Nicki would be appearing on the remix to her hit single “Whole Lotta Money”. “The lines felt fresh to me. It felt fresh for hip-hop,” Minaj said. “Blessings on the future of your career. Thank you for being a genuine sweetheart.”
The rap queen delivers on the track, which has already garnered over 70 million streams worldwide. The original version of the song went viral on TikTok and received tons of support from artists like Cardi B, Lizzo and Lil Nas X.
“Whole Lotta Money” is featured on BIA’s For Certain EP, which was released back in December. Aside from this remix, Nicki has been working on her fifth studio album, which she recently called “her best work yet.”
