Baltimore native MYB Scotty releases his brand new single “Toxic”, along with a ‘Love & Basketball’-themed music video. The track is off his latest project Friday Night Thoughts, which has been receiving quite the praise from his hometown, as well as his peers. The hip-hop newcomer took to Instagram and shared a sneak peek of the upbeat track and the visual.
The song also samples the Jennifer Lopez hit “If You Had My Love” and although it starts off with a melody, Scotty follows with his hard-hitting bars, rapping about a love entanglement. The track is the perfect balance between rap and R&B. MYB Scotty is sure to catch everyone’s attention with “Toxic”, and the music video will have us feeling nostalgic.
