Diddy covers Vanity Fair’s September issue.
The hip-hop mogul sat down with the magazine and talked about his “Love Era”, his return to music and starting a record label for R&B artists.
The “Love Era” is a five-year plan of new initiatives, one being his Excellence Program which is a free curriculum for aspiring entrepreneurs and executives. As for music, Diddy says he’s back, and starting his own music label exclusively for R&B singers. “Yeah, all R&B label, because I feel like R&B was abandoned and it’s a part of our African American culture. And I’m not signing any artists. Because if you know better, you do better,” he explained. “I’m doing 50-50 partnerships with pure transparency. That’s the thing.”
Speaking of R&B, Diddy will be releasing his album Off the Grid on September 24. “I’m making a classic,” he tweeted a while back.
Excited to see what Diddy has in store for us.
