Beyoncé never ceases to amaze us!
The 39-year-old superstar graces not one, but three covers of Harper’s Bazaar’s new September “Icons” issue. In the interview, the singer talks about turning 40 this year, her new IVY PARK collection, and most importantly, new music.
“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” she tells the magazine. “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare,” she continues. “Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
Since the release of her 2016 Lemonade project, Beyoncé has hopped on a few songs, including J Balvin and Willy William’s “Mi Gente” single, and last year’s summer hit, the remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage”, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
