Drake’s Certified Lover Boy is No. 1!
The Toronto rapper has once again broken a record, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, after selling 613,000 equivalent album units in the first week. In addition, he currently occupies 9 spots in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, with “Way 2 Sexy” landing at No. 1. The track features Atlanta rappers Young Thug and Future.
With Drake taking over the Hot 100, he has surpassed the Beatles’ 1964 record for the most Top 10 hits in a year. Certified Lover Boy is Drake’s 10th number one album, having taken Kanye West’s spot from last week for his release of DONDA.
According to several reports, Certified Lover Boy generated 743.7 million on-demand streams in the U.S.
