Adele is back…finally!
The singer releases her fourth studio album, 30, and some say this may be her best work yet. This is Adele’s first project in six years and during her hiatus, the 33-year-old went through a tumultuous time. Her divorce to Simon Konecki wasn’t easy. “I was just going through the motions and I wasn’t happy,” she said in an interview with Vogue magazine. “Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It was just: I want my son to see me really love, and be loved. It’s really important to me.”
The record includes her No. 1 hit ‘Easy On Me’, and the powerful ‘To Be Loved’, a track that shows off Adele’s immaculate voice. 30 features contributions from Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Shellback, the same team who worked on her previous project, 25.
Adele says that unlike 21, this album will be with her forever. “I always say that 21 doesn’t belong to me anymore. Everyone else took it into their hearts so much. I’m not letting go of this one. This is my album. I want to share myself with everyone, but I don’t think I’ll ever let this one go.”
