Jennifer Lopez releases her brand new track “On My Way”.
The ballad is the first single off the soundtrack of the 52-year-old’s upcoming romantic comedy, Marry Me. Lopez performed the single at the Global Citizen Live event back in September. “This song is about pushing through old mistakes and finding your destiny … But this is just for you guys here tonight,” she told fans. “I want to share this with you because I feel, I feel, what I know is that we are on our way.”
In the movie, Jennifer plays Kat Valdez, a musical superstar who finds out her fiancé Bastian, played by Colombian singer Maluma, has been cheating on her – that’s when things quickly take a turn for the worse. The film also stars Owen Wilson and features an appearance by comedian Sarah Silverman.
Marry Me hits theaters on Valentine’s Day in 2022.
