Big Sean joins R&B vocalist Queen Naija on their brand new single “Hate Our Love”.
The soulful track finds both artists celebrating their love for one another, despite the haters who want to see them fail as a couple. The song, which samples Bobby Glenn’s 70s ballad “Sounds Like A Love Song”, marks the first collaboration between the two Detroit natives. “I’m so excited to finally collaborate with Big Sean on a record…it’s been a dream of mine for a while now,” said Queen Naija. “With both of us being from Detroit, it felt like the perfect match up and I hope everyone loves the song!”
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, “Hate Our Love” is the perfect anthem for the romantic holiday. Naija aims to rise above the hate and won’t let anybody come between her and Sean. Produced by Mike Woods, the record arrives less than a year after Queen Naija released Missundertsood… Still. As for Big Sean, the rapper dropped his project with Hit-Boy last fall, What You Expect.
