Jennifer Lopez Netflix Documentary ‘Halftime’ To Debut At Tribeca Festival

Jennifer Lopez is making her way to Tribeca!

The global superstar’s new documentary Halftime will make its debut at the famous film festival on June 8 at the United Palace in Washington Heights. The project, which premieres on Netflix on June 14, focuses on Lopez’s life and career as she reflects on her milestones and evolution as an artist. Oscar-nominated director Amanda Micheli recently spoke about the event. “It’s an honor to be selected for the opening night of Tribeca, and so fitting to be celebrating this critical milestone in Jennifer’s life and career just miles from where she grew up!”

J.Lo took to Instagram to share the news along with the poster and release date for the documentary.

Halftime will also include footage of Jennifer’s Super Bowl halftime show performance, as well as her appearance at Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony. Actor and Tribeca co-founder Robert De Niro praised the film. “Powerful storytelling — whether in music, film, or games — encourages us to fight for universal values that bind humanity together. Halftime, featuring Jennifer Lopez, reminds us of that.”

The Tribeca Film Festival will take place from June 8 through June 19 in New York City.
