BET has announced an all-star lineup to honour Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The entrepreneur and music mogul will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s BET Awards for his contributions to the music industry and his cultural influence. Several artists are set to take the stage for a tribute performance, including Mary J. Blige, Nas, Lil’ Kim, Bryson Tiller, Faith Evans and many more.
“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” said BET’s CEO Scott Mills in a statement.
In a trailblazing career that spans over three decades, Diddy’s work has continuously evolved and defined the culture. From music to media, business, and philanthropy, the 52-year-old is Black Excellence.
