Tank proves that R&B is very much alive!
The singer/songwriter released his 10th and final studio album on Friday titled R&B Money. The 17-track project includes the lead single “Can’t Let It Show” as well as a killer list of collaborations with artists like Alex Isley, Chris Brown, Vedo, J. Valentine and many more.
Although this is Tank’s last album, he revealed that he wanted to pay homage to the artists who have had a huge impact on his career. “R&B Money is a labor of love to my fans and to the genre of R&B. This is who I am! I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for artists like Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Keith Sweat, Al Green, and my fans who inspire me every day to make music. I wanted this album to pay homage to my influences and my evolution as an artist, and I think that’s what this final album represents.”
From start to finish, R&B Money is mainly filled with sexy slow jams – just in time for cuffing season!
