DJ Khaled Releases New Album ‘God Did’

DJ Khaled has dropped his star-studded album God Did.

The 18-song body of work boasts appearances from Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kanye West, Future, Eminem, SZA, Latto and many more. God Did also includes the previously released “Staying Alive” with Drake and Lil Baby.

For years, Khaled has been delivering hit after hit, teaming up with some of the best artists in the industry. As for this record, many took to social media to share their excitement – specifically about Hov’s verse which DJ Khaled claims is “one of his best verses.”

In a recent interview with Billboard, the music mogul revealed that Jay-Z helped pick out the cover art. “I am the biggest JAY-Z fan, and I actually let him pick my album cover. I always give him like two cover options and see which one he would pick, and I did it again on this album,” he said. He also added that after he played the album for Jay, the rapper pulled him aside and told him that this is his best album.

In other good news, Hits Daily Double has reported that God Did is projected to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 albums chart, with sales between 105,000 – 115,000 total equivalent units.
