Metro Boomin delivers his latest project Heroes & Villains.
The Atlanta producer returns as rap’s superhero with his sophomore album and the follow-up to his 2018 record Not All Heroes Wear Capes. Heroes & Villains features a slew of artists, like John Legend, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Future, Chris Brown, 21 Savage and more. Metro got creative with the rollout of the 15-track set, by creating a few custom-made comic book covers and shooting a short film with actor Morgan Freeman.
The producer had to postpone the release of the project by one week due to sample clearance issues. Metro dedicated the album to his late mother Leslie Wayne (Ms. Leslie.)
Heroes & Villains is likely to take the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200, racking up 155,000 units in its first week.
