Canada’s talent keeps growing!
The latest artist to make waves in the music scene is Winnipeg native, and OVO affiliate, Lavi$h. The 24-year-old shines on his debut single “World In My Hands”, produced by Akeel and Yonatan Watts. The soulful ballad is also accompanied by its own music video.
The Zambia-born singer has been working closely with Chubbs, Drake’s right-hand man, for a while now. “Chubbs is doing his thing. He has some incredible artists that he’s been playing for me. Lavi$h and a couple of other people that he’s been working with,” Drizzy said back in December.
Lavi$h is sure to have people talking — with his unique sound and incredible songwriting ability, the young artist is well on his way, having already gotten approval from Toronto artists Drake and Jessie Reyez, who both shared his song on their IG stories.
