From ‘Grown-ish’ to grown! Chloe Bailey’s debut solo album is here.
Known professionally as Chlöe, the singer/actress previously worked with her sister Halle Bailey as part of the duo Chloe x Halle, and released two albums—The Kids Are Alright (2018) and Ungodly Hour (2020.)
On In Pieces, fans can hear the rawness and vulnerability in her songs and according to Chlöe, it’s mainly based on moments where she’s been scared to express her feelings. “There were moments I was heartbroken, not only through romantic relationships but friendships, family, and people I thought I could trust,” she said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “In Pieces is about how we put ourselves back together after feeling like the world breaks you down.”
The 14-track project includes her sexy duet with Chris Brown “How Does It Feel”, and the Future-assisted “Cheatback”, a song about seeking revenge on your unfaithful man.
This year, the 24-year-old is also set to appear in two feature films, The Georgetown Project and Praise This.
