Justin Timberlake might be ‘bringin’ sexy back!’
In an interview with Variety, longtime friend and collaborator Timbaland confirmed that the singer’s album is done. “We just finished up and everything sounds great. Now it’s really on him how and when he envisions it to come out,” he said. “With an artist of his caliber, everything has to be aligned, but it’s done and it’s coming.”
The producer also added that fans will be getting “fun Justin” — it’s like FutureSex /LoveSounds but nothing too heavy.” Justin’s last album, 2018’s Man of the Woods, had a bit of a folksy sound, and received some mixed reactions. However this time around, the project will have “bob-your-head, dance-to-it music,” as Timbaland says. “We had songs that maybe were too complicated, so we said we want it to feel like FutureSex part two, so we did songs that will fit that.”
Although a release date has not been confirmed, let’s hope we get this album just in time for a ‘summer love.’
