She’s a boss!
Actress, singer and TV host Keke Palmer has released her new album Big Boss, alongside a short film of the same name. Her highly-anticipated project features 10 tracks and the visual clocks in at a little over 40 minutes. Keke shared a clip and gave fans a sneak peek of it on Instagram earlier this week.
Palmer keeps it real on Big Boss as it tells the story of her experiences in a male-dominated industry. “It’s a huge thing for me in more ways than one, directing and writing for the first time as well as actually being able to tell my story,” she told HuffPost in a recent interview. “I didn’t budge on any aspect of putting this together. I really was fully sound and clear in my mind and what I wanted for this, and I followed through in a way that I never did before.”
Big Boss arrives just months after the launch of her new online network KeyTV, a platform that she says will focus on “spotlighting a new generation of creators.” Keke has been keeping busy as she is also set to star in Amazon Studios’ Moxie and Super Toys opposite Sacha Baron Cohen.
